Senior Data Engineer (Contract)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement modern data architectures and lakehouse solutions (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, AWS)
• ▹Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle and collaborate with business stakeholders
• ▹Create effort estimations and provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase
• ▹Mentor 3-6 person project teams and ensure code quality (code reviews)

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of experience in data engineering
• ▹Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and data tools (Databricks or Snowflake)
• ▹Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, or PySpark
• ▹Proven track record of designing and delivering complex data solutions
• ▹Excellent communication skills in both English and Hungarian
• ▹Valid B2B/Contractor status with the ability to issue invoices
