As part of the Servicing Tooling Platform team, you'll build a scalable, reusable platform supporting Wise's operational processes.
Responsibilities
- ▹Build a scalable and reusable platform for efficient operational processes
- ▹Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of the tooling platform
- ▹Iteratively build new capabilities on top of legacy systems to enable their eventual decommissioning
Requirements
- ▹Strong experience with Java and the Spring framework
- ▹Experience with asynchronous message queues
- ▹Experience with microservices architecture
Nice to have
- ▹Experience building and designing scalable, high-performing systems and APIs
- ▹Comfortable with SQL databases, optimisation and transactions
- ▹A passion for international finance, foreign exchange and payment systems
Soft skills
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiencesAble to work independently while being a strong team playerAble to break down complex projects into incremental, value-delivering milestonesOpen to code reviews and feedback
