Lead GenAI Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Own the end-to-end architecture and delivery of GenAI solutions at client sites, from strategy phase to production
• ▹Make and defend technical architecture decisions for complex AI systems (agentic architectures, RAG pipelines, LLM integrations) in front of the client
• ▹Advise business units and management up to C-level, translating AI possibilities into business value
• ▹Define project scope with the client, estimate effort and shape proposals
• ▹Help win new GenAI projects: co-write proposals, join pitches and contribute technical expertise to sales
• ▹Develop the engineers on your team through code reviews, technical sparring and direct feedback
• ▹Drive the integration of AI agents into the development process (AI-assisted coding, automated code reviews, intelligent test generation)
• ▹Build AI services hands-on, review code and set technical standards for the team
• ▹Define KPI frameworks to measure GenAI solution performance and ensure they are followed

Requirements

• ▹Proven GenAI track record: LLM-based systems designed, advised on and built end to end in production
• ▹Excellent, production-grade Python: API development (FastAPI, Pydantic), containerization (Docker), testing, Git, CI/CD
• ▹Deep understanding of GenAI architectures: agentic systems, end-to-end RAG, prompt engineering, structured outputs, function calling
• ▹Leadership experience: steering workstreams or small teams, both technically and organizationally
• ▹Several years of consulting experience working directly with clients; able to lead workshops and present results at C-level
• ▹Degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, data science, business informatics or similar (B.Sc. or higher)
• ▹Fluent German and negotiation-level English
• ▹Willingness to travel: regular on-site work at client locations
