Staff Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Architect Borrowing's data layer at scale, structuring 1,700+ models across 12+ products
• ▹Design and govern data products (SLAs, documentation, ownership)
• ▹Build feature stores and reusable analytical assets (credit behaviour, repayment patterns, risk indicators)
• ▹Scale analytics engineering infrastructure, tooling and developer experience
• ▹Drive data consistency across products and geographies

Requirements

• ▹Experience designing data architectures spanning multiple products or domains
• ▹Experience building data products (not just models): defining SLAs, contracts, interfaces
• ▹Deep fluency with analytics engineering systems and infrastructure: dbt at scale, BigQuery, CI/CD for data, testing frameworks, orchestration
• ▹Experience designing reusable feature layers
• ▹Ability to work productively at the platform boundary (ingestion, streaming vs batch, schema evolution)
