Responsibilities

• ▹Shape the ML strategy for Workforce Management
• ▹Lead design, build and delivery of production ML systems across forecasting, routing, assignment and escalation
• ▹Stay close to technical details: problem framing, modelling approach, validation
• ▹Partner with Product, Engineering, Data and Operations leaders to turn ambiguous problems into pragmatic ML systems
• ▹Coach and develop Machine Learning Scientists through regular 1:1s
• ▹Create healthy ways of working: priorities, technical standards, monitoring

Requirements

• ▹Recent hands-on ML practitioner experience (Senior IC, Tech Lead, Team Lead or ML manager)
• ▹Strong foundations in ML, statistics, forecasting, optimisation or operations research
• ▹Experience shipping and operating ML systems in production
• ▹Ability to move between technical detail and business context
• ▹Commitment to coaching, open to a first formal step into management
