Responsibilities

• ▹Collaborate closely with the cross-functional team (Product, Design, Data Science, Marketing, Partnerships, UX Research) to drive vision and roadmap
• ▹Lead a team of full-stack engineers: hiring, coaching, and instilling best practices
• ▹Use technical expertise to make appropriate tradeoffs and ensure scalable solutions
• ▹Instill a results-driven, user-delighting culture
• ▹Set a fast pace with 80/20 thinking and timely decisions in ambiguous spaces
• ▹Make and clearly communicate resourcing decisions
• ▹Partner with org leadership on strategic planning

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• ▹2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager
• ▹Close collaboration with PMs, designers, data scientists, and engineers
• ▹Pride in delivering delightful experiences for users and stakeholders
• ▹Experience growing engineers
• ▹Comfortable engaging with code when needed
• ▹'All problems are my problem' mindset, unblocking teams
• ▹Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (relocation assistance may be available)

Nice to have

• ▹Understanding of the gaming industry
• ▹Experience on growth, revenue-generation, e-commerce, or monetization teams
• ▹Track record of impact through experimentation and data-driven decisions
• ▹Experience with the full consumer product lifecycle (acquisition, engagement, retention, monetization)
• ▹Active Discord user
