In this Innsbruck-based role you take professional leadership and technical coaching responsibility for a 5-person software development team, while being responsible for the software architecture and technological evolution of an innovative platform in the healthcare/nursing sector.

Responsibilities

  • Providing professional leadership and technical coaching for a 5-person software development team
  • Owning the software architecture and technological development of an innovative platform in the nursing/healthcare sector
  • Actively contributing to software development from concept through to production rollout
  • Ensuring code quality, stable releases and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Helping shape an agile way of working through the introduction and continuous improvement of SCRUM processes
  • Structuring and prioritizing business requirements, translating them into actionable development packages
  • Acting as a technical sparring partner for management, customers and stakeholders, confidently representing architecture and technology decisions

Requirements

  • Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, business informatics or a comparable technical qualification
  • Several years of software development experience, solid backend or full-stack know-how, a strong hands-on mentality
  • Initial experience in the professional or technical leadership of development teams
  • High degree of initiative and decisiveness to confidently represent technical topics
  • Negotiation-level German and English skills, spoken and written

Nice to have

  • Experience in regulated environments (e.g. medical technology, healthcare or safety-critical systems)
  • Interest in sensor technology and hardware-related systems
