Engineering Manager - Autonomy

Responsibilities

• ▹Execute the product and technology roadmap to bring state-of-the-art autonomy technology to market
• ▹Collaborate across product management, embedded, mobile, cloud, hardware and flight test teams
• ▹Hire and mentor elite engineers to scale up the team
• ▹Uphold and improve Skydio's engineering standards

Requirements

• ▹Hands-on technical leader with strong software engineering experience
• ▹Deep understanding of robotics, computer vision and software systems
• ▹Proven leadership, management, recruiting and team-building skills
• ▹Solid fundamentals in 3D geometry, mathematics and linear algebra

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with hardware is a plus but not required
