Product Manager, Fraud Data

The Fraud team is looking for a Product Manager to build Protect's signal stack, working at the intersection of fraud expertise and data science, bridging the needs of data scientists and product.

Stack

Responsibilities

  • Own the feature roadmap for Protect: what to build, how to validate it, how to measure coverage and fill rates
  • Build and manage the labeling pipeline as a product, including customer retros and the label feedback loop into model training
  • Define product requirements for fraud vector scores: signal selection, precision/recall targets, customer-facing output design
  • Partner with data scientists and MLEs as a day-to-day collaborator, translating between model and product needs in both directions
  • Work with GTM and the Protect PM on translating attribute improvements and new scores into customer-facing value

Requirements

  • Real, hands-on fraud prevention experience: fraud vectors, detection systems, risk signal evaluation
  • Direct experience collaborating with data scientists or ML engineers to ship data-driven products

Nice to have

  • Experience at a fraud vendor (SentiLink, Sardine, Socure, Persona, Incode) or a fraud operations team at a large fintech or bank
  • Background with ML model inputs/outputs: feature engineering, offline evaluation, experimentation to production
  • Specialization in a specific fraud vector (account takeover, synthetic identity, or first-party fraud)

Soft skills

Strong collaboration with data scientists as peersAbility to translate in both directions between model and product needs
