Technical Account Manager, Financial Institution Partnerships

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead technical strategy and roadmap with financial institutions and fintechs
• ▹Identify key areas of improvement across enterprise API integrations
• ▹Intake requests from Product teams for discovery sessions, beta testing, and launches
• ▹Work with Partnership Managers to build and execute the integration roadmap/account plan
• ▹Complete technical scoping and build/launch new API integrations
• ▹Act as the connective tissue between Plaid engineering, product teams, and data partners on high-impact issues
• ▹Serve as the escalation point for technical incidents with outsized customer impact

Requirements

• ▹6+ years in a client-facing and/or technology-focused role combining business and technical acumen
• ▹Experience independently managing external relationships and executing technical strategies
• ▹Excellent project management and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• ▹Deep understanding of APIs, databases, system infrastructures, and architecture
• ▹Self-starter with strong troubleshooting and deductive/inductive reasoning skills
• ▹Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across teams and seniority levels
• ▹Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and navigate unexpected roadblocks
