Head of Strategic Finance, Product & Engineering

Responsibilities

• ▹Build product-level revenue and gross margin forecasts for near, mid, and 3-5 year long-term horizons
• ▹Partner with the CPO and CTO on capital deployment: headcount planning, capacity modeling, EPD AI tooling strategy, scenario planning
• ▹Identify opportunities to optimize COGS and opex while increasing velocity and maintaining cost discipline
• ▹Own EPD performance tracking and reporting, focused on the highest-signal metrics
• ▹Partner with Data teams on data hygiene, timeliness, and granularity
• ▹Build trusted cross-functional relationships, serving as the connective tissue between EPD and the rest of the business
• ▹Own the Product narrative for quarterly Board meetings
• ▹Define, build, and lead the EPD Finance team

Requirements

• ▹15+ years in Finance, spanning consulting, investment banking, private equity, or strategic finance at a high-growth tech company
• ▹Deep fluency in product P&L finance: revenue forecasting, gross margin analysis, headcount/capacity planning, software economics
• ▹Exceptional analytical rigor paired with sharp business judgment
• ▹A genuine builder with a player-coach approach to building teams and systems
• ▹Demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing finance teams
• ▹Executive presence and communication skills to influence senior stakeholders and Board-level audiences

Nice to have

• ▹Prior experience partnering with engineering and product leaders
• ▹Fintech or financial services experience is a plus, but not required
