Requirements Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• ▹Collect, analyze, and document requirements for HV battery systems, modules, and lithium-based cells
• ▹Create requirement specifications aligned with battery standards, safety regulations, and technical constraints
• ▹Develop and maintain requirements traceability matrices for all battery system components
• ▹Collaborate with stakeholders (incl. OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers) to clarify battery-related requirements
• ▹Identify requirement-related risks in battery system development and propose mitigation strategies
• ▹Support change, requirements, risk, and release management within battery development projects
• ▹Contribute to project plans and timelines based on battery system requirements
• ▹Coordinate with testing, QA, integration, and requirements management teams
• ▹Align CAD design activities for battery components with defined system requirements

Requirements

• ▹Studies in Mechanical Engineering/Automotive Engineering/Mechatronics/Physics or Chemistry
• ▹Interest in vehicle technology/manufacturing processes and a deep interest in battery development
• ▹Knowledge of at least one CAD software, such as CATIA or NX, and confident handling of MS Office
• ▹Previous experience in 3D/2D design
• ▹At least B2 level in English and German
• ▹Able to work at least 20 hours/week
• ▹Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and attention to detail
• ▹Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to engage with diverse stakeholders
