Test Automation Engineer (Medior / Senior)

Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement automated test cases for backend, frontend, or API-based systems
• ▹Collaborate with distributed teams across multiple time zones
• ▹Participate in requirement analysis to ensure testability and clarity
• ▹Maintain and improve automation frameworks using modern tools and programming languages
• ▹Identify, document, and track defects throughout the development lifecycle
• ▹Provide technical insights to clients with a consultant-style approach
• ▹Contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines

Requirements

• ▹Strong English communication skills (spoken and written); German is a plus
• ▹Advanced knowledge of at least one test automation tool (e.g. SoapUI, Postman, or similar)
• ▹Programming experience in one or more languages: Python, Java, C#, or TypeScript
• ▹Hands-on experience with any automation framework (UI, API, performance, or custom-built)
• ▹Understanding of software testing principles and QA best practices
• ▹Playwright knowledge is a must-have
• ▹Ability to work independently in a remote, multicultural environment

Nice to have

• ▹Basic knowledge of DevOps activities, networking, and CI/CD pipelines
• ▹ISTQB certification (additional ISTQB certifications highly valued)
