Senior Data Scientist - Pricing

Responsibilities

• ▹Drive pricing intelligence: design and implement ML models and optimization algorithms for pricing levers
• ▹Own projects end to end, from problem definition and metric design through implementation to presenting results
• ▹Collaborate with data scientists and backend engineers to translate models into production features
• ▹Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of fee strategies or model changes
• ▹Use statistical analysis to uncover actionable insights
• ▹Communicate clearly with engineering, product, and business stakeholders

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of industry experience as a data scientist, with a Master's (or PhD) in a quantitative discipline (statistics, economics, engineering)
• ▹Track record of shipping data science work that impacted live, customer-facing products
• ▹Comfortable with ambiguity, able to propose direction with imperfect data
• ▹Strong grasp of machine learning and statistical concepts, choosing the right model for production
• ▹Practical expertise in experimentation design and analysis
• ▹Proficient in Python and SQL, familiar with software engineering practices (testing, code review, deployment)
• ▹Clear communicator of complex ideas to diverse audiences, including senior management

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in pricing, B2C marketplaces, or revenue management
