Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Work directly with customers to understand their workflows, infrastructure setups, and operational and technical challenges
• ▹Quickly develop an understanding of new technical environments and independently drive issues from investigation through resolution
• ▹Reverse engineer customer systems and resolve issues spanning CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, developer tooling, build systems, and application environments
• ▹Act as an extension of customers' engineering teams, helping them solve complex technical challenges and improve how they build and ship software
• ▹Build product improvements, tooling, integrations, and fixes that unblock customer teams and improve developer productivity
• ▹Identify recurring patterns across customer engagements and collaborate with product and engineering teams on platform improvements
• ▹Drive adoption through deep technical partnership, helping customers expand Namespace across additional workflows and teams
• ▹Develop deep expertise in modern developer workflows, infrastructure systems, and software delivery practices

Requirements

• ▹Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to navigate unfamiliar systems quickly
• ▹Comfort debugging across modern infrastructure, developer tooling, and application environments
• ▹High curiosity and a systematic approach to problem-solving
• ▹Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical teams and users
• ▹Bias toward execution and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• ▹Customer-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
