Senior Security Engineer (IT)

Responsibilities

• ▹Own security administration and configuration for Okta, Slack and Google Workspace
• ▹Manage IT support requests during EMEA hours, with a focus on security-related issues
• ▹Lead rollout and ongoing management of endpoint and data protection tools including MDM, DLP and EDR
• ▹Partner with the Security team on SOC2 compliance work and audit preparation
• ▹Act as the primary IT contact during declared security incidents
• ▹Monitor security dashboards and alerts, then investigate and act on what matters
• ▹Develop and enforce least-privilege access groups across applications and platforms
• ▹Build dashboards, reports and alerting using APIs and logging platforms

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of experience supporting Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems
• ▹3+ years of experience with endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike or SentinelOne
• ▹3+ years of experience with SSO and SAML technologies using Okta, Google or other identity providers
• ▹3+ years of experience with mobile device management tools such as Jamf or Workspace ONE
• ▹3+ years of experience administering DLP controls across Google Workspace, Slack, Okta and GitHub
• ▹Experience leading EDR, MDM and DLP rollouts in a mid-sized organization
• ▹Strong understanding of SOC2 requirements, including supporting audits
• ▹Strong understanding of workstation security policy: encryption, firewall, password complexity
• ▹Experience with incident and change management in an IT or security environment

Nice to have

• ▹Scripting and automation experience to improve workflows and reporting
• ▹Experience with flowgramming tools such as Okta Workflows or Workato
• ▹Experience using APIs to pull data, trigger actions or connect security systems
• ▹Strong understanding of identity and access management across GCP, AWS and Azure
• ▹Experience building practical internal tools or dashboards for IT and security teams
• ▹Experience with compliance platforms such as Drata
