Developer Advocate

Responsibilities

• ▹Become the voice of the developer community within Notion's Product and Engineering teams
• ▹Create and publish engaging, helpful content: demos, guides, API reference material, and blog posts
• ▹Collaborate with the Storytelling team to amplify community-created content through @NotionDevs
• ▹Own Notion's strategy and presence at hackathons, developer conferences, and events
• ▹Partner with Engineering, Product, and Business Development on API improvements
• ▹Own the strategy and execution for key developer channels: Notion Devs Slack, Notion Devs X, and developer docs
• ▹Partner with marketing and sales teams to help them understand how developer features create customer value

Requirements

• ▹A solid technical background and a strong presence in the developer community
• ▹Exceptional communication skills, with individual developers and large audiences alike
• ▹Readiness to build a program from 0 to 1 and own it as it grows as a pillar of the company
• ▹Creativity and business instincts for the opportunities the developer platform opens up
• ▹Experience rallying internal stakeholders and project-managing on a deadline, partnering with engineering teams
• ▹Curiosity and willingness to adopt AI tools to work smarter

Nice to have

• ▹Experience as a developer advocate, engineer, or PM at a company where the API is critical to growth
