Senior Procurement Officer (Supply, Cloud Infrastructure)

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead end-to-end negotiations for intricate, high-value agreements, prioritizing optimal payment schedules, cost structuring against cash flow, and strategic discounting of credits
• ▹Manage relationships with critical suppliers, ensuring Runpod secures the best possible terms for infrastructure needs
• ▹Act as the primary bridge between procurement and Legal, reviewing complex contract clauses and streamlining contract execution
• ▹Analyze procurement data and vendor proposals to forecast expenses, mitigate supply chain risks, and drive continuous cost improvements without sacrificing quality or speed
• ▹Work closely with engineering teams and finance leadership to align procurement strategy with technical requirements and delivery timelines

Requirements

• ▹Extensive, proven experience managing the full lifecycle of procurement, with emphasis on negotiating complicated, enterprise-level contracts
• ▹Deep familiarity with financial structuring within contracts: payment terms, capital expenditures vs. cash flow, credit discounting
• ▹Strong capability to navigate and review complex legal jargon while protecting company interests
• ▹Strategic problem-solving: tackling supply chain bottlenecks and challenging vendor dynamics
• ▹Successful completion of a background check

Nice to have

• ▹Direct experience procuring hardware, software, or services in the datacenter, cloud computing, networking, or AI technology space
• ▹Familiarity with modern procurement software, ERP systems, and supply chain best practices in a high-growth tech environment
• ▹Prior experience working in a fast-paced, remote-first startup environment
• ▹Advanced degree or certification in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or Law (e.g., CPSM, JD)
