Senior Backend Software Engineer (affirmative position for women)

Responsibilities

• ▹Write high-quality, documented, efficient, tested and maintainable code
• ▹Ensure and improve observability and monitoring of applications
• ▹Proactively focus on team members' technical growth, coding standards and overall code quality
• ▹Learn other programming languages when needed
• ▹Actively focus on improving security, performance and stability of applications
• ▹Conduct and receive high-quality code reviews for team members
• ▹Exercise technical influence through well-grounded, objective and simple solution discussions
• ▹Propose architecture solutions, guiding team members to meet functional and non-functional requirements
• ▹Estimate and plan delivery timelines with stakeholders and product
• ▹Use existing Swile solutions to ensure convergence with global platforms
• ▹Work with loosely defined or ambiguous requirements to help shape better solutions
• ▹Create incremental solutions with the product team for continuous improvement and delivery
• ▹Focus on tested, automated and E2E deliveries to ensure application stability
• ▹Monitor and act on production incidents
• ▹Lead projects, ensuring delivery within estimates
• ▹Help grow team members technically by being a role model
• ▹Participate in hiring processes for engineers at the same or lower level
