Technical Content Engineer

Backend Developer • Remote • Vollzeit • 📍 Remote or Hybrid UK

As Trigger.dev's first dedicated content hire, produce technical content and shape strategy to make the company top-of-mind for developers building reliable AI agents and workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Producing technical content - blog posts, tutorials, video, tweet threads, demo apps - whatever format best lands the idea
  • Owning content strategy - deciding what to write about, which channels to be on, what success looks like, and how often to ship
  • Building with the product - writing real TypeScript on top of Trigger.dev - sample apps, integrations, reference implementations
  • Supporting founder content - producing posts, threads, and longer pieces that go out under the founders' names
  • Measuring and iterating - setting up conversion tracking, running A/B tests on content, adjusting based on results
  • Reading the room on the audience - understanding the technical, informal sensibility of the dev tools and AI agent crowd
  • Shaping how the company tells its story

Requirements

  • Strong TypeScript skills - shipping real applications, not just snippets; the stack is Node/TypeScript
  • A track record of external technical content that has performed - public blog posts, tweet threads, YouTube videos, talks
  • Fluency with the current AI tooling landscape - building with AI agents and the surrounding stack
  • Strategic instincts alongside production chops - not just writing the blog post but shaping what to write and measure
  • Strong written communication and high EQ - working independently while keeping the team in the loop

Nice to have

  • An existing audience on Twitter/X, YouTube, or a personal blog in the developer or AI space
  • Previously worked in-house at a dev tools, dev infra, or AI infra company in a content, DevRel, or growth-engineering capacity
  • Experience producing content that has gone viral or driven measurable signups for a product
  • A proven track record of contributing to open source projects
  • Comfort on camera (video, YouTube, screencasts)
