Responsibilities

• ▹Oversee the overall purchasing data landscape, ensuring data is accurately integrated and maintained across systems
• ▹Develop and maintain data architecture to support efficient data management and reporting
• ▹Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure data quality and compliance
• ▹Define and implement data rules and guidelines to maintain data integrity and consistency
• ▹Conduct regular audits of data to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring high data quality standards
• ▹Work with IT and procurement teams to enhance the functionality and usability of data management systems
• ▹Ensure all data management activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements
• ▹Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, finance, and operations teams, to ensure alignment and support for data initiatives
• ▹Provide training and support to internal users on data management best practices and system usage
• ▹Promote and foster a data-driven culture within the organization by advocating for the use of data in decision-making processes

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
• ▹Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data management, data governance, or a related role
• ▹Proficiency in data management systems, databases, and data governance tools
• ▹Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• ▹Ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders
• ▹Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• ▹Ability to identify and resolve issues related to data management and governance

Nice to have

• ▹Strong SQL and Excel skills
• ▹Experience with specific data management and governance systems (e.g., SAP BW, Oracle Data Warehouse)
• ▹Knowledge of industry-specific data management practices and standards
