Responsibilities

• ▹Develop, maintain and enhance microservice-based applications using Java and Quarkus, ensuring high performance, scalability and reliability
• ▹Operate and support production environments running on Kubernetes, including deployment automation, monitoring, troubleshooting and incident resolution
• ▹Design and maintain integrations with Kafka, MongoDB and external systems using Apache CXF-based services and APIs
• ▹Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, automate operational processes with Linux and Bash scripting, and contribute to infrastructure reliability
• ▹Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of tolling-related systems, perform root cause analysis and drive continuous improvements

This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic road-charging solutions. Together with partners, the team develops and operates intelligent, kilometer-based tolling systems for international customers, covering the entire business process (vehicle registrations, country booking, on-board units, position data transmission, charge calculation and fleet billing). Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology, these tolling solutions enable seamless mobility across Europe. The team's goal is to enhance existing services and expand into new domains, working as part of an international team together with T-Systems International.
