Responsibilities

• ▹Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
• ▹Implement dynamic user interfaces ensuring an optimal user experience across devices and browsers
• ▹Implement entire features including frontend, backend and databases
• ▹Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, back-end developers, product managers) to deliver high-quality products
• ▹Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting front-end best practices
• ▹Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• ▹Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• ▹Write clean, understandable, and testable code
• ▹Enhance and maintain the testing infrastructure to avoid regressions
• ▹Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in front-end development, experimenting to improve the process
• ▹Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and foster collective code ownership
• ▹Integrate front-end components with server-side logic and functionalities
• ▹Propose and drive improvements to the overall architecture of the software stack
• ▹Lead projects and mentor others in managing complex initiatives

Requirements

• ▹Proficiency with the frontend stack, ideally Next.js, React and TypeScript
• ▹Ability to write simple REST endpoints and database queries to support your feature
• ▹Critical and honest attitude toward the engineering practices employed
• ▹Willingness to reason about and push back against "normalcy" for the team's benefit
• ▹Bring a new angle of view to the problems the team is facing
