Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer - Europe

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead technical discovery for strategic opportunities
• ▹Map business goals to measurable technical success criteria and an evaluation plan
• ▹Design, scope, and execute POCs that prove value
• ▹Build lightweight prototypes, sample integrations, and demos using Deepgram SDKs and APIs
• ▹Advise on architecture for accuracy, latency, scalability, and cost
• ▹Handle security and compliance threads (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
• ▹Create reusable assets such as reference architectures and runbooks
• ▹Partner with AEs, CSMs, and partners on positioning and demos

Requirements

• ▹5+ years in Solutions Engineering or a similar customer-facing technical role focused on pre-sales
• ▹Professional software engineering experience in at least one language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Rust)
• ▹Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, networking fundamentals, and secure API design
• ▹Proven track record leading POCs for enterprise customers and earning the technical win
• ▹Clear written and verbal communication across technical and executive audiences

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with speech recognition, TTS, voice quality analysis, or AI agents orchestrating LLMs
• ▹Familiarity with telephony and real-time media (SIP, WebRTC, streaming, WebSocket)
• ▹Experience with self-hosted and hybrid deployments, including Helm-based installs
• ▹Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and data residency
• ▹Fluency in an additional European language (German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish)
