Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Respond to the voice of UK customers to shape the right product for the market
• ▹Independently solve complex problems across Xero's products (Payments, Accounting, Payroll)
• ▹Collaborate with various product owners across Xero to design, build, and ship solutions
• ▹Navigate the balance between regional needs and global roadmaps

• ▹Versatility to ramp up quickly in new areas, mastering unfamiliar codebases and domains
• ▹Skill navigating complex stakeholder environments, building consensus across globally-distributed teams

• ▹Experience in resilient software design and agile development
• ▹Experience coaching and mentoring others, leading by example in code quality and design discussions
