Solution Engineer (C++ / Golang / Python)

Responsibilities

• ▹Participate in the development and maintenance of the large-scale, distributed storage platform
• ▹Interface with users of the system to understand their use cases and help them make the best use of the tools and platforms
• ▹Research best practices and propose feature specifications for the platform roadmap
• ▹Develop and maintain features and tools that complement the core platform offering

Requirements

• ▹University degree, preferably in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
• ▹At least 5 years of work experience
• ▹Strong English communication skills, experience working in a global environment
• ▹Expertise in software life cycle management methodologies and tools, including Git and JIRA (required)
• ▹Expertise in C/C++, and/or Go and/or Python (at least one required)
• ▹UNIX/Linux (required)

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of designing and developing large-scale, distributed storage systems
