Responsibilities

• ▹Set and support strategic direction for the team
• ▹Collaborate with senior individual contributors to create an engaging technical vision
• ▹Work with cross-functional partners to define the best solutions for internal and external customers
• ▹Scope and plan key deliverables for projects and initiatives
• ▹Provide technical leadership to developers within and across the engineering organization
• ▹Coach individual contributors, recruit and retain strong talent
• ▹Help scale the team and the services they are responsible for

Requirements

• ▹Several years of experience managing a team of engineers and owning/operating a service
• ▹Deep experience with cloud native infrastructure and backend technologies
• ▹Ability to create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment
• ▹Capable of driving project delivery and creating roadmaps for future work
• ▹Experience helping a team scale itself and its services
• ▹Experience managing a remote team
