Senior Developer (Windows), Product Security

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Implement new security features and develop secure shared libraries across applications
• ▹Assist in security design and scoping, breaking down and estimating work
• ▹Demonstrate leadership in security development as a trusted point of contact
• ▹Code, test, debug, deliver and maintain production software systems
• ▹Collaborate with Design, QA and security engineering on secure coding practices
• ▹Mentor junior and new team members through pairing and technical guidance
• ▹Review code for others to maintain high code quality and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• ▹4+ years of software development experience with a security angle, encryption and authentication protocols
• ▹4+ years of hands-on Windows security development in Rust, C#, C/C++, Go or TypeScript
• ▹Rust development experience and building FFI interfaces, especially for Windows
• ▹Knowledge of Windows OS architecture and platform-specific optimization
• ▹Familiarity with TPM/HSM and Windows Hello, BitLocker, Secure Boot, Credential Guard
• ▹Strong understanding of cryptography, network/application security, threat vectors, access control
• ▹Excellent written and verbal communication, self-starter with strong organizational skills

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect
• ▹Experience working on a SaaS product
• ▹Leadership experience as a software developer
• ▹Experience with GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
• ▹Familiarity with DataDog, SemGrep, Sonarqube, Fortify
