Responsibilities

• ▹Contribute to the maturation phase of key firmwide software systems
• ▹Relentlessly improve the systems' performance, scalability, reliability, and survivability
• ▹Continue developing new features

Requirements

• ▹Computer Science degree (advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred, particularly with storage technologies or distributed systems)
• ▹Extensive experience as a key contributor in the development of complex software systems (leading financial services firm experience preferred, particularly with high-performance systems)
• ▹Deep expertise in distributed systems, with hands-on experience building scalable, resilient, mission-critical services
• ▹Strong experience with data-intensive architectures using technologies such as Kafka, PostgreSQL, and/or BigQuery, with a track record of performance optimization and reliability in production
