Responsibilities

• ▹Advise and partner with project teams on occupational safety
• ▹Fully perform the duties of the appointed occupational safety specialist (SiFa) for the project
• ▹Own creation, review and legally compliant archiving of SHE concepts, site safety plans and checklists (SAP/DVS)
• ▹Conduct biological, thermal and toxicological workplace assessments as a basis for risk assessments
• ▹Plan safety walkthroughs and audits, track deviations through to resolution
• ▹Coach teams and deliver training to strengthen a proactive safety culture

Requirements

• ▹Engineering degree (Bachelor/Master, e.g. process engineering, chemistry, civil or safety engineering) or comparable technical qualification
• ▹Certified occupational safety specialist qualification (§ 7 ASiG)
• ▹5-8 years of relevant experience in industrial, highly regulated occupational safety, ideally in the chemical industry
• ▹Strong knowledge of BetrSichV, GefStoffV and VDE regulations
• ▹Business-fluent English and fluent German

• ▹Health & safety coordinator (SiGeKo) qualification
• ▹Project management knowledge
