Operational Excellence Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead Operational Excellence projects independently across all departments, including savings identification and cost analysis
• ▹Integrate improvements into daily operations with a strong shopfloor focus
• ▹Moderate workshops and cross-functional initiatives, train employees in OPX methods and tools
• ▹Perform value-stream analyses and derive action plans
• ▹Report project progress, savings, and OPX successes
• ▹Collaborate across sites to foster a culture of continuous improvement

Requirements

• ▹Degree in Engineering, Business, Production Technology or a comparable field
• ▹At least 3 years of experience in Lean, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence in an industrial environment
• ▹Solid knowledge of Lean tools and methods (5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, Gemba Walks)
• ▹Strong MS Office skills and basic ERP experience
• ▹Excellent communication skills in English and German

Nice to have

• ▹Six Sigma knowledge
• ▹Experience with MS Planner, Visio, Lucidchart or Power BI
