Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Architect, develop, configure and customize the back-end Shopify B2B Commerce platform (Shopify Apps, Functions & Extensions, Shopify APIs)
• ▹Design and develop complex B2B capabilities beyond Shopify B2B's standard features, integrated across the Formlabs digital landscape
• ▹Partner with headless front-end teams, providing backend expertise, data and API endpoints
• ▹Partner with the Salesforce team to architect key integrations and features for sales and service excellence
• ▹Drive enterprise integrations between Shopify, Salesforce, ERP and DWH using APIs and middleware
• ▹Contribute to other digital roadmap initiatives (marketing automation, AI-driven sales/service tools, vendor solutions)
• ▹Apply modern software development practices: version/branch control, QA, CI/CD, deployment keys
• ▹Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• ▹Contribute to the strategic direction of Formlabs' digital landscape

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of professional full-stack experience building eCommerce or digital platforms for a B2B business
• ▹Proven experience with Shopify B2B, Shopify Apps, Functions & Extensions and Shopify APIs from a backend, headless perspective
• ▹Experience with enterprise integrations across Shopify, Salesforce, ERP and DWH in a fast-moving business
• ▹Understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem: Apex, Lightning, Flow, Validation rules, Automations, APIs
• ▹Data savviness: ability to write SQL from scratch, knowledge of data warehouse concepts and tools (e.g. BigQuery)
• ▹Experience with development and deployment tools: GitHub, Gearset, Kubernetes
• ▹Excellent problem-solving, analytical and communication skills
• ▹Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and quickly learn new technologies
• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to have

• ▹Shopify Verified Skills and Badges (e.g. Shopify B2B: Launch and Customization, Foundations, Discovery and Solution Design)
• ▹Salesforce Developer certifications (Platform Developer I/II), Apex experience
• ▹Experience with iPaaS middleware or cloud-based integration functions (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions)
• ▹Ability to effectively leverage AI coding tools
• ▹Familiarity with ERP, CRM, Marketing Automation, Data Analytics and BI systems
