4211-Director-Platform Marketing

Sonstige • Remote • Vollzeit • Vereinigte Staaten United States, USA

About the Role

We at Innovaccer are looking for a Director, Platform Marketing to build and lead the marketing function for Gravity — our AI-native platform that makes autonomous healthcare operations possible. This is the most senior marketing role in the Gravity organization. You set the strategy, build the team, own the platform narrative, and are ultimately accountable for the pipeline all of Gravity's swimlanes produce.

Where each solution's Head of Marketing owns a specific buyer and a specific outcome, you own the layer underneath all of them. You own how Innovaccer explains the platform — Memory, Intelligence, and Orchestrated Execution — and why that architecture is what makes autonomous operations credible and differentiated. You build the team of marketers who execute each swimlane, and you hold each of them to the same pipeline standard the solution Heads of Marketing are held to.

This is a player-coach role at the outset: you will set the strategy and build the team while also executing directly in the early innings, particularly on the platform narrative and analyst relationships. As the team scales, the balance shifts toward leadership and organizational design. You report to the CMO.

A Day in the Life

  • Define and own the overall Gravity marketing strategy — how the platform is positioned, which swimlanes are prioritized and when, and how the Gravity story nests inside Innovaccer's broader autonomous operations narrative.
  • Set and hold accountability for the aggregate pipeline target across all Gravity swimlanes. Each swimlane has its own pipeline number; you own the sum.
  • Build, hire, and lead the Gravity marketing team — including swimlane marketers, a platform narrative function, and technical/analyst-facing content. This is a team you are building, not inheriting fully formed.
  • Own the platform narrative for Gravity — how Memory, Intelligence, and Orchestrated Execution work together to make autonomous operations reliable — and keep it current as the architecture evolves.
  • Lead analyst relations at the platform level — briefing KLAS, Gartner, Forrester, and relevant technical analysts on Gravity's architecture and differentiation, distinct from any single solution's analyst conversations.
  • Partner directly with the CMO, the CEO, and Gravity's Product and Engineering leadership to ensure the platform story is technically accurate, commercially relevant, and updated as capabilities ship.
  • Work with technology partners (e.g., NVIDIA) on joint technical narrative and co-marketing tied to platform-level capability, not individual solutions.
  • Coordinate with each solution's Head of Marketing so their pitches draw on a consistent, credible platform story rather than each team explaining Gravity differently.
  • Represent Gravity externally — at analyst briefings, industry events, and with technical evaluators inside prospective customers who are assessing whether the architecture can deliver what solution teams are claiming.
  • Track competitive positioning across AI and healthcare data infrastructure platforms and flag where Gravity's differentiation needs to be sharpened or better articulated.
  • Build the library of reusable technical proof points — architecture diagrams, benchmark data, security and governance documentation — that every solution team, the Head of Thought Leadership, and the sales organization can draw on.

What You Need

  • Either of two backgrounds: (a) 8–10 years in management consulting or strategy, ideally followed by an MBA from a top-tier program, with meaningful exposure to healthcare and a demonstrated track record of owning go-to-market outcomes, not just producing strategy recommendations; or (b) 10–14 years in marketing at an AI, AI-infrastructure, or healthcare technology company, with direct experience leading a marketing function, owning pipeline, and building team. Either path is a fit — we are not requiring both.
  • A proven track record of owning a pipeline or commercial outcome at the function level — not as a contributor to someone else's number. For path (a), this includes consulting engagements tied to a client's measurable commercial result. For path (b), owning and delivering marketing pipeline directly. This is a hard requirement for both paths.
  • Experience building and leading marketing teams, including hiring, structuring a function, and developing talent. This is a people leadership role from day one.
  • Genuine comfort with technical material — you need to understand enough of how an AI platform is architected (data, models, orchestration, governance) to translate it accurately for both technical evaluators and business buyers, and to hold your team accountable for doing the same.
  • Experience with analyst relations at a senior level — briefing Gartner, Forrester, KLAS, or equivalent analysts on platform architecture and differentiation, not just product features.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make complex technical concepts credible and clear for both engineering-minded evaluators and C-suite buyers.
  • Comfort operating cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales leadership at a peer level — this role has significant organizational influence and no formal authority over most of the people it depends on.
  • Healthcare industry experience is a strong plus — direct healthcare AI experience is ideal, but genuine demonstrated fluency in the healthcare buyer environment is the floor.
  • Comfort building in ambiguity — this function is still being defined. The Director, Platform Marketing is not stepping into a mature org; they are building it.
