Platform Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Design, implement and maintain cloud-based platforms on Azure or SAP BTP
• ▹Build and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Bicep or CloudFormation
• ▹Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines for automated build, deploy and release processes
• ▹Ensure platform reliability through monitoring, logging and alerting solutions
• ▹Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, networking and compliance controls
• ▹Collaborate with development teams to provide self-service platform capabilities
• ▹Optimize cloud environments for cost efficiency and performance
• ▹Support containerized workloads using Kubernetes (AKS, EKS or BTP Kyma) and Docker
• ▹Maintain platform documentation, standards and reusable components
• ▹Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and deployment issues

Requirements

• ▹2+ years of experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering or DevOps roles
• ▹Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: Microsoft Azure, AWS or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• ▹Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code
• ▹Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• ▹Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• ▹Understanding of networking concepts, security and identity management
• ▹Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• ▹Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
