Organization, Position, Workplace and Access Compliance Data Lead
Sanofi's People Services Data Governance and Master Data Management team in Budapest is hiring an Organization, Position, Workplace and Access Compliance Data Lead. The role is the data governance and MDM authority for Position and Workplace data in Workday, the security and compliance model governing that data, and the enablement of a robust position data model in Sanofi's Snowflake data foundation. It focuses on enabling strategic workforce planning through accurate, AI-ready position data, and leads a team of four specialists.
Responsibilities
- ▹Define and enforce global data standards for position and workplace master data in Workday, partnering with Global Process Owners
- ▹Enable strategic workforce planning through accurate position and workplace data and ensure data integrity across planning dimensions
- ▹Define data access policies and security classifications and ensure GDPR and privacy compliance
- ▹Design position data models in Snowflake and define data pipelines from Workday to Snowflake
- ▹Support organizational design and M&A initiatives, leading position data migration and integrity during organizational changes
- ▹Drive AI readiness and data quality strategies, including root cause analysis and automated data validation
- ▹Lead a team of 4 data governance specialists and manage stakeholder relationships across HR, Finance, Technology and Legal
Requirements
- ▹5+ years of experience in data stewardship, master data management or data governance in enterprise environments
- ▹Deep, hands-on expertise in Workday Position Management (position lifecycle, supervisory organizations, job profiles, FTE management, organizational hierarchies) - a non-negotiable core requirement
- ▹Strong understanding of strategic workforce planning concepts and data requirements
- ▹Strong understanding of the Workday security model and its impact on data sharing agreements
- ▹Experience with Workday workplace and location data management
- ▹Experience enabling or consuming HR data in Snowflake or equivalent data foundation platforms
- ▹Demonstrated success in team leadership and people management
- ▹Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions and divestitures from a data governance perspective
- ▹GDPR and data privacy compliance in the context of HR and workforce data
Nice to have
- ▹Workday Certification, particularly in HCM Core
- ▹Experience with Informatica Cloud Data Governance Catalog or similar data catalog platforms
- ▹Snowflake data modeling, data sharing and consumption layer design experience
