Hardware or Software Developer – Fire Protection

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop hardware and software solutions for modern smoke detection systems
• ▹Design and optimize optical smoke detection technologies (particle detection)
• ▹Develop solutions for building automation applications (office buildings, industrial plants, underground garages, tunnels, ventilation systems)
• ▹Work across the full cycle from idea to prototype to series production
• ▹Carry out lab measurements and tests, analyze measurement data
• ▹Combine hardware, software and sensor technology (microcontrollers, optical sensors, firmware)
• ▹Consider relevant standards and certifications (EN 54-7, EN 54-27, ISO 7240-7, EN 14604)

Requirements

• ▹Experience in smoke detection, particle measurement technology, fire alarm technology or a comparable optical sensor field
• ▹Completed technical degree (electrical engineering, information technology, mechatronics, physics, sensor technology, automation) or state-certified technician qualification
• ▹Experience in hardware or software development
• ▹Independent, structured work style
• ▹Business-fluent German and English (at least B2)
