Senior Software Engineer, Android - KMP (Warsaw)

Responsibilities

• ▹Build new features for the item catalog within the SumUp SuperApp
• ▹Improve the application architecture and contribute to the Kotlin Multiplatform strategy
• ▹Enhance and maintain the unified Android app distributed across 60+ countries
• ▹Shape the product's evolution by identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to daily decision-making
• ▹Write thorough documentation and implement robust testing before shipping features
• ▹Collaborate closely with Designers, Product Managers and Android engineers for a unified UX across platforms

Requirements

• ▹8+ years of experience in mobile engineering with Android and Kotlin
• ▹2+ years of experience with Jetpack Compose
• ▹Solid understanding of software design patterns (e.g. MVVM, MVI) and modular, scalable app architectures
• ▹Good knowledge of reactive programming (Flow, Coroutines and concurrency)
• ▹Strong grasp of testing best practices
• ▹Strive for clean code with a balance of pragmatism and perfection
• ▹Keen interest in multi-platform development using Kotlin Multiplatform
