Senior C++ Software Developer

Responsibilities

• ▹Further develop, maintain and refactor C++ legacy applications, fix bugs and optimize performance
• ▹Develop new applications with Qt (C++/Qt 6), including UI prototyping and third-party library integration
• ▹Participate across the full software lifecycle, from requirements analysis to testing and deployment
• ▹Use test and build tools (pyTest, GoogleTest, QtTest), perform static and dynamic code analysis
• ▹Follow coding standards (e.g. C++ Core Guidelines) and actively participate in code reviews
• ▹Evaluate and integrate new technologies, libraries and tools
• ▹Support the team through knowledge sharing and participation in agile Scrum teams

Requirements

• ▹Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, media informatics, computer engineering or comparable
• ▹At least 5 years of professional experience as a C++ developer or similar role (software/embedded/systems/QA engineer)
• ▹Experience with MFC (legacy code) and Qt, good understanding of software architectures
• ▹Confident use of database management, infrastructure, Git, CMake and CI tools
• ▹Experience in agile (Scrum) teams, ideally certified as Scrum Master or Product Owner
• ▹Very good analytical skills, proactive mindset, experience working with customers and stakeholders

Nice to have

• ▹Scrum Master or Product Owner certification
