Develop control and regulation concepts for state-of-the-art machinery and equipment, program PLC controls based on Siemens SIMATIC, and commission systems at customer sites, via GermanTechJobs Talents.

Responsibilities

  • Develop control and regulation concepts for state-of-the-art machinery and equipment
  • Program machine and plant controls with a focus on drive technology
  • Commission control and drive technology at domestic and international customer sites
  • Perform fault analysis and troubleshooting on site or via remote support

Requirements

  • Degree in automation or electrical engineering, or a comparable technician qualification, with at least 5 years of professional experience
  • Solid knowledge of PLC controls, especially Siemens SIMATIC Step7 TIA Portal and Classic
  • Know-how in drive technology (e.g. SINAMICS S120/S210/G120)
  • Experience implementing safety functions in control and drive technology
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30% domestic & international)
  • Very good German and English skills (min. C1)

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of other systems such as Allen-Bradley, Bosch Rexroth, Beckhoff
