Responsibilities

• ▹Build, operate, and secure firewall and network security solutions, including rule set and system management
• ▹Further develop modern network structures (LAN/WAN/VPN/VLAN) and secure communication architectures
• ▹Implement network and IT security measures, especially segmentation, hardening, and zero-trust concepts
• ▹Analyze and resolve network and security incidents, including incident and escalation management
• ▹Operate and expand monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, and create reports and KPI evaluations
• ▹Contribute to network projects such as site connections, migrations, and infrastructure modernization, including technical documentation

Requirements

• ▹Completed IT vocational training or a comparable qualification with practical professional experience
• ▹Experience operating and administering firewalls and enterprise networks
• ▹Very good knowledge of routing, switching, VPN, and network architectures
• ▹Experience with monitoring, security, and analysis tools
• ▹Basic knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g. PowerShell, Python, or Ansible)
• ▹Very good German and good English skills, written and spoken

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with common security and network vendor products
• ▹Experience in vulnerability management
