Responsibilities

• ▹Design and implement complex features in the existing software architecture and optimise code for efficiency and usability
• ▹Follow software development processes based on agile methodologies
• ▹Turn customer requirements into workable, reusable code, take part in code reviews and apply state-of-the-art approaches
• ▹Integrate into a multisite, multicultural and multinational development team
• ▹Assist in troubleshooting development and production technical issues

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of professional experience in software application development
• ▹At least 3 years of hands-on development with Python and web services/REST APIs
• ▹At least 3 years of developing desktop applications (Linux/Windows) with Qt or similar frameworks
• ▹Comfortable with Angular/TypeScript for web frontends
• ▹Fair understanding of data structures, algorithms, databases and SQL (incl. SQLite) and ORMs such as SQLAlchemy
• ▹Used to GitLab, CI/CD and common IDEs such as PyCharm or VS Code and Linux development environments
• ▹Passion for technology and keeping up with the latest development trends
• ▹Good to very good command of English and German, spoken and written
• ▹Willingness to work on-site regularly
