Senior IT Security Consultant

Responsibilities

• ▹Work on projects involving innovative, complex issues
• ▹Advise clients on BSI baseline protection / ISO 27001 tasks, e.g. designing and introducing information security management
• ▹Conduct BSI review and certification audits
• ▹Perform risk and protection-needs analyses (Risk Assessment per ISO 27005), develop data protection management concepts
• ▹Develop business continuity, IT emergency preparedness, and crisis management concepts
• ▹Run awareness and information sessions on information security

Requirements

• ▹5-10 years of project experience with public-sector and/or industry clients
• ▹Experience in information security/data protection, solid knowledge of IT audit, IT quality assurance, IT legal/compliance aspects, and ITIL processes
• ▹Very good knowledge of IT security/baseline protection tools (e.g. GSTOOL, verinice)
• ▹Excellent communication, presentation, and moderation skills
• ▹Very good English and willingness to travel

Nice to have

• ▹Certification as a 27001:2005 Auditor, BSI-certified auditor, or BSI-certified IS security consultant/auditor
