Lead Software/Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop and maintain embedded software and firmware for Mousetrapper products
• ▹Troubleshoot and analyse problems related to software, firmware and hardware
• ▹Evaluate software and firmware architecture, including how common and product-specific functionality should be structured
• ▹Take part in technical design, testing, verification and code review
• ▹Coordinate software and firmware development with internal colleagues and external development partners
• ▹Contribute to improved development processes, documentation, testing and CI/CD

Requirements

• ▹Several years of professional software development experience
• ▹Good programming skills
• ▹Experience of software architecture, system design and technical leadership
• ▹Understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers
• ▹Experience with C/C++, Python and/or other relevant programming languages
• ▹Experience collaborating with different technical disciplines and stakeholders
• ▹Good command of English, spoken and written

• ▹USB and HID devices
• ▹CI/CD and automated testing
• ▹Hardware-near debugging and test equipment
