Senior IT Technician / Systems Technician

Responsibilities

• ▹Operate and monitor Windows/Linux servers and databases
• ▹Troubleshoot and solve problems during incidents and outages
• ▹Install, configure, patch and upgrade software
• ▹Implement security measures and carry out regular security checks
• ▹Collaborate with other IT departments and technicians to optimise and improve the environments
• ▹Document system configurations, procedures and fault reports
• ▹Take part in planning and carrying out new releases; operations follow ITIL and an agile way of working

Requirements

• ▹Good Swedish and English, spoken and written
• ▹Driving licence B for a manual car
• ▹Higher education in IT/data or experience judged equivalent
• ▹At least 5 years of operations experience in one of the following areas: Microsoft Windows Server
• ▹Microsoft AD with related services such as DNS, PKI, IIS
• ▹Linux
• ▹DNS administration (NAMED/BIND)
• ▹httpd/nginx administration
• ▹Databases in some form: Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, MySQL, OracleDB etc.

Nice to have

• ▹PowerShell
• ▹Splunk or similar
• ▹Experience with integration platforms
• ▹Experience of the Swedish Armed Forces' operations
• ▹Experience working according to ITIL
