Data Engineer / Data Analyst Intern for Automotive Sensor Analysis

Responsibilities

• ▹Analyze big data from automotive sensor development and production, from data preparation to summarizing results
• ▹Design and optimize the data collection process and analysis workflows
• ▹Organize meetings, communicate clearly about data, deliver results to schedule and quality expectations, present and document reports in English
• ▹Continuously improve analytical workflows based on user feedback
• ▹Share methods and collaborate with internal and external partners such as validation and reliability engineers and data engineers, in international teams

Requirements

• ▹At least 20 hours per week over the long term, for at least one year
• ▹BSc or MSc studies in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, physics or a similar field
• ▹Strong programming skills: Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, tensorflow, keras) and SQL
• ▹Strong background in data mining and in developing and optimizing machine learning algorithms
• ▹Excellent statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• ▹Knowledge of version control (git)
• ▹Adequate English

Nice to have

• ▹Relevant experience in the engineering field
• ▹Experience with the Hadoop ecosystem and distributed systems
• ▹MATLAB, Scala, PySpark
• ▹Business intelligence tools (Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI)
• ▹Cloud technologies
