Senior Frontend Engineer

Stack

Responsibilities

• ▹Develop high-traffic user interfaces for enterprise e-commerce platforms based on JavaScript, TypeScript, Vue 3 and Nuxt 3
• ▹Implement impactful frontend features to optimise user experience and conversion rates
• ▹Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA engineers to deliver modern design systems and features
• ▹Work out architectural decisions together with the Tech Lead and evaluate new web technologies
• ▹Ensure high code quality through close collaboration, code reviews, automated and manual testing and active participation in team retrospectives
• ▹Further develop new shop features and designs in an agile Scrum environment, primarily with Nuxt 3 and Tailwind CSS
• ▹Ensure end-to-end quality assurance and pixel-perfect design implementation using testing frameworks such as Vitest and Playwright
• ▹Actively share knowledge within the internal tech community

Requirements

• ▹At least 5 years of professional experience and solid expertise in frontend development
• ▹Good understanding of web accessibility and performance optimisation
• ▹Professional experience with TypeScript and Vue 3
• ▹Strong command of core web technologies including HTML, JavaScript and CSS
• ▹Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and a trained eye for precise UI design implementation
• ▹Background in B2C e-commerce or experience in a dynamic boutique agency environment
• ▹Practical knowledge of automated testing tools such as Playwright, Jest or Vitest
• ▹Excellent communication skills in English and pronounced empathy for other people's perspectives

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with Redis
• ▹A passion for performance and web accessibility
• ▹Initial knowledge of Vue Storefront and Scayle
