
Fullstack Software Engineer (x/f/m) - Product Platform
Alan is hiring a fullstack software engineer for its Product Platform area, which enables product crews to move faster by providing reliable, reusable, and simple internal services. The role builds reusable internal capabilities such as payment, messaging, document processing, and pricing engines, treating the platform as a product with product teams as customers. The stack is Python/Flask, React, and PostgreSQL in a monorepo with daily deployments.
Responsibilities
- ▹Build reusable internal capabilities and core services such as Payment, Messaging, Document Processing, and Pricing Engine
- ▹Develop shared platforms like the AI Platform with strong adoption across areas
- ▹Create operational tooling: dashboards and automation supporting reliability, observability, and scalability
- ▹Ensure quality and consistency of the UX through shared layout systems, navigation, and reusable UI components
- ▹Design and maintain internal services, APIs, and SDKs
- ▹Work closely with product crews, the Architecture Group, and Tech Foundation Area to ensure systems scale globally
- ▹Influence product direction and mentor engineers
Requirements
- ▹3+ years in backend, platform, or infrastructure-oriented engineering roles
- ▹Experience designing and maintaining internal services, APIs, or SDKs
- ▹Ability to turn complex problems into elegant solutions
- ▹Care about the 'why' behind what you build, not just the 'how'
- ▹Fluent English
- ▹Legally eligible to work in France, Belgium, or Spain
