Responsibilities

• ▹Contribute to the design and deployment of robust, scalable IT infrastructure solutions tailored to civil aviation
• ▹Manage the automation of deployments and operations to optimise system performance and reliability
• ▹Maintain and update server systems and networks to meet accessibility and security requirements, both on factory platforms and at client sites
• ▹Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation in accordance with aviation regulations and standards
• ▹Collaborate closely with project managers to understand clients' technical and functional requirements
• ▹Contribute to client meetings in partnership with the Work Package Manager (WPM)
• ▹Propose evolutionary solutions and take part in costing them
• ▹Write site intervention reports to support continuous improvement and give stakeholders visibility
• ▹Extensive travel abroad, mostly within Europe, for project implementation and support (up to 30%)

Requirements

• ▹Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• ▹Significant experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar role, ideally in a civil aviation environment
• ▹Proven expertise in Linux server management and virtualization (KVM, Proxmox)
• ▹In-depth knowledge of network protocols and architectures (switching, routing, VPN, firewalls, etc.)
• ▹Automation skills (shell scripts, PowerShell, Ansible, etc.)
• ▹Strong sense of documentation and quality, in line with strict standards
• ▹Fluent English, spoken and written
• ▹Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work in a team and collaborate with clients
• ▹Ability to analyse and solve problems independently while supporting and advising team members
