(Senior) Product Manager, Trust Platform – Digital Identities (1-year fixed-term contract)

Responsibilities

• ▹Define the digital identity strategy and portfolio of identification methods for EUDI Wallets and eIDs, evaluating direct integrations versus broker-based approaches
• ▹Act as the counterpart to IDnow's Trust Services team and ensure smooth integration of electronic signatures, Qualified Electronic Attestations of Attributes (QEAAs) and related trust services into the Trust Platform
• ▹Stay ahead of eIDAS 2.0 and EUDI Wallet standards, tracking technical specifications and implementing acts so the platform is compliant well before deadlines
• ▹Ensure seamless cross-border identity verification, managing the nuances of EU member state requirements, national eID schemes and trust frameworks
• ▹Analyze the friction-versus-security trade-off of each identification method and recommend how customers can maximize onboarding rates
• ▹Own the end-to-end specification of eID and EUDI Wallet integrations, in technical detail on protocols, data models and trust frameworks
• ▹Collaborate closely with Engineering, Legal, Compliance and Solutions teams to translate regulatory requirements into product and technical specifications

Requirements

• ▹5+ years of product management experience with end-to-end ownership of strategy, discovery, prioritisation, delivery and continuous improvement, ideally in a regulated or standards-driven environment
• ▹Experience in digital identity, trust services, fraud prevention, compliance or a regulated industry such as banking, fintech, insurance or telecommunications
• ▹A high level of autonomy and ownership, as a detail-oriented executor who keeps track of business metrics and customer feedback
• ▹Ability to communicate complex regulatory and technical topics clearly to engineering teams, senior stakeholders, customers and internal audiences
• ▹Willingness to be based in or travel frequently to Rennes, France
• ▹Fluency in English and French

Nice to have

• ▹Knowledge of eID schemes or EUDI Wallets, comfortable with technical specifications, protocols and regulatory texts in depth
• ▹Knowledge of Identity & Access Management and authentication protocols such as OIDC, SAML and OAuth
• ▹Additional European languages
