(Senior) Global Pharmacovigilance Data Analyst

Responsibilities

• ▹Lead the development, validation and optimization of complex reporting solutions and SQL queries
• ▹Generate and oversee critical periodic and ad hoc pharmacovigilance reports
• ▹Act as an escalation point for complex data integrity and reporting issues
• ▹Conduct root cause analyses and drive sustainable corrective actions
• ▹Partner with IT, Safety Systems, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Affairs and other global functions
• ▹Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
• ▹Support system enhancements, testing activities and implementation projects
• ▹Mentor junior team members and share best practices across the organization

Requirements

• ▹Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Life Sciences or a related discipline
• ▹Several years of experience in data analytics, reporting or database management
• ▹Advanced SQL and database querying skills
• ▹Strong experience investigating data quality and data integrity issues
• ▹Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions
• ▹Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• ▹Experience working in complex global and cross-functional environments

Nice to have

• ▹Experience with pharmacovigilance systems such as Argus or ARISg
• ▹Experience with Cognos or comparable reporting platforms
• ▹Pharmacovigilance, Drug Safety or Clinical Data Management experience
• ▹Experience with reporting automation and process improvement initiatives
